Players are leaving my game almost immediately after they join

I have almost finished the beta of my game Farm Tycoon and I ran some ads inside my other games to get some (very limited) traffic. However, I noticed that the players who joined are leaving almost immediately. Out of the 5 people that joined by game, not a single one played above 2 minutes.

This is confusing me become when a player joins, it is teleported right in front of his claim portal, and immediately after claiming, a tutorial starts. Only one person completed the tutorial but left right after.

Does the game have a problem? Is it that boring? Did I just get unlucky? I tested the game on an alt, and I didn’t have any problem completing the tutorial.

I planned on running Roblox’s sponsored ads later, but, obviously, I don’t want the players to leave immediately.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

EDIT : I just wanted to thanks a lot all the devforum members that joined the game after this post. I wasn’t expecting such an interest in helping me to get feedback. Thank you all

think it might be an issue with roblox, i’ve crashed when joining games or teleporting between places so i don’t think that it’s your fault and all we can do is wait for roblox to fix it

Either that or a hidden virus? Would players leave if you were in the game?

You are crashing when joining any game? It may be the issue then, idk. Thank you for reporting it.

I tested the game on an alt that is not a friend of my main to test this, and I haven’t got teleported anywhere nor got spammed with fake game passes.
I couldn’t join at the same time as other players for the second question, so I didn’t experienced it.

I’m playing your game right now and I’ve noticed a couple of things

  • There is minimal feedback, music and no audio eg. a particle should appear when you harvest wheat.

  • UI and models can be improved.

Pm if you would like me to help you with your game

Hello! Thank you very much for playing my game, I see you are still in it. I am quite submerged right now, so sorry if I ignored you.

Thank you very much for your feedback! What do you mean by minimal music? I have 3 different musics in the background and they seem fine to me. You are right about the audio however, I have little to no audio feedback. I will work on that.

I don’t really know how to improve my UI, I would appreciate some tips
I planned on improving the model, thank you for reminding me!

I hear no music and for improving the UI you should use Photopea, a free alternative to photoshop.

If you hear no music, that’s a bug then. Do you see any error in your console?
Thank you for the tip with Photopea! I am currently using Pixlr and Roblox Studio for UI/UX

also regarding your lag I don’t think there are any problems.

There are many factors on peoples devices that can contribute to lag.

Oh , I don’t know if there is a way to fix that. Thank you for pointing that out!

For the lag, I planned on improving the meshes I use for the crops, that should help fixing it. Thank you for your feedback!

You are right! When I added the new button at the bottom, I forgot to change the position in the tutorial! Thank you for pointing that out!

Really nice game! However, I think you should make the farmers work faster, as it takes like 5 seconds for them to plant or harvest. Maybe reduce the value of wheat to maintain the right balance. Overall great game!

you can drop the tools make sure to change that

Hello, thank you for your feedback! I will reduce the time farmers are taking to plant and harvest.
For the wheat, I don’t think I can reduce their sell price since it’s already 1 coin. Was that what you were talking about?
Thank you!

Oh yes, my bad. Thank you for pointing that out!

Yeah, I played through the entire game, up to the first rebirth. It was really good, and yeah if you reduce the planting/harvesting time for farmers it would be even more fun. I also recommend that you reduce the money you get for planting the more expensive crops. It is slightly unrealistic that a pumpkin would sell for $500, and a cucumber (or squash?) would sell for even more! Great game overall though!

Thank you for your feedback! Concerning the sell prices of crops, I don’t know if reducing the selling price is a good idea, since it is high to congratulate the players that managed to buy it, and preventing the crops from having a high sell price would prevent progress at a higher level.
However, after seeing the very little amount of time some of you took to rebirth the first time, I may reduce the selling price of higher level crops, thank you for pointing that out!
P.S. Yes, it’s a cucumber
