Hey guys, my game Legacy Fruit, which is a RNG and a PVP game about One Piece has recently released (since saturday), and we’ve been spending 50k robux from then.
We peak at 500+ players, but after an hour and a few minutes, players drop down to 14. We have a community and players who come back, but the problem is that number of players is very small (10-20).
I would really appreciate any form of feedback anyone could give me to keep players coming back.
Apparently people don’t think your game is fun enough, so I would suggest that you try and add a daily rewards system, or get a YouTuber to help you or something. It sounds like you definitely have more than enough robux to get a youtuber to show off your game. I guess it’s not very admirable, but it’s probably your best action. Were you dropping trailers before the Release?
I really like the graphics and effects and stuff - but gameplay is so much more important.
My biggest issue is that when I first join the game I am absolutely bombarded with information & UIs and am expected to just remember everything. Playable tutorials that actually teach you how to play and what it’s about are a thousand times better. People not spending much time in your game is a clear indicator that it does not have a good first impression.
Another thing you need to think about - why would someone play your game rather than Blox Fruits or similar? because at the end of the day, most people simply will find Blox Fruits more fun. You need something unique about the game that isn’t the fact that you turned it into a gambling game. Think of fun mechanics! and make sure to present these mechanics in a way that the player will remember.
