Please send alerting emails when someone logs into our account with a new device

Hello today, I was just checking my connection settings like a random day because for unknown reason, I notice someone got connected into my account several times and from different country and different regions, it scared me a lot.
It was 7 days ago and none of my robux disappeared luckily. I have no idea if my games have been stolen or not.
Or maybe Roblox employees went into my account for unknown reason :

I’m totally not from United States, and I don’t have Chrome on OSX. I’m not from San Mateo in California.

I hope it’s not caused by a pc from my superior school, I highly doubt.
But seriously Roblox should do like Google, sending a warning email telling a strange activity is happening on your account.

This would be a great feature basely, but for now you can most likely use the extension “RoQoL” for more website features, which also has a windows notification when someone new logs into your account.

As well as telling you if someone logged in while you were away.

this is highly unlikely.

as for the logins, if you believe these are fraudulent logins, immediately go to your account settings and click “Log Out of All Devices” or similar. you seem to have some high-value groups so if you don’t already have 2FA on, look into getting an authenticator app.

also quick note: these locations are often inaccurate. not to this degree, but it’s not unheard of for IP addresses to have no resemblance to your real location

Always recommend changing your password after/beforehand as the attacker usually doesn’t cease until they can no longer login, usually by cookie, which gets reset upon password change.

I would also say getting yourself a YubiKey is a good idea, though these are quite expensive, authentication + a security key make it impossible for anyone to login to your account even with your password.

The thing is I already use authentificator app since years :skull:

I’m thinking about it and I’m hesitant to have one, it would be nice if Roblox sells keys with their image

I never use VPN. I wouldn’t write this topic if that was the case.

An apple device in San Mateo? That’s genuinely highly suspicious, like extremely suspicious. San Mateo is the location for Roblox Headquarters and they’re given apple devices. If this screenshot is real, it’s extremely likely that they have been using your account. For what reason, I would have no clue but that’s not a coincidence and authenticator is safe which means the login must have bypassed it which obviously requires some level of authority.

This is assuming there was no VPN and authenticator is enabled.

About 5 months ago, they asked me for a log file (A file that shows what happens when I go to studio) so I could report a bug on Roblox Studio, to find out where I crashed.

this could possibly be linked to an incident i had this year where every location of devices was changed from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to Perth, Western Australia, Australia and i had 2sv on. plus everytime i left the house it would log me out of roblox. the only fix for it was using my laptop and using quick log in because my 2SV email is bugged. this was sadly back when i could not bug report

here is what it looked like

(edited mockup made today. no longer occuring)
