My name’s Alimegacorn and for the past few weeks I’ve been working on a new game. I’m getting close to the point where I’m comfortable with putting some robux into sponsoring it, but before doing so I’d like to check for any game breaking bugs and receive feedback. Please let me know if you run into any issues during gameplay, and feel free to share what you think about it!
The game is legitimately a lot of fun and I played it for a few hours. The attack chaining where you need to precisely hit someone when they get up from the ragdoll, the hazards like the hole in the middle, and the different weapons with their unique abilities make this game great.
What I would do to improve the game:
The boxing glove’s Knockout ability sometimes glitches and won’t let you use it again unless you reset. The large glove effect also gets stuck on the screen for just your client, acting like a blind spot for further lives. I haven’t narrowed down how exactly to get this to occur yet, but the error states “Attempt to index nil with ‘FindFirstChild.’”
Some weapons have balancing issues. I know it’s a progression based game and I can expect a bit of power ramping from the cheaper weapons to the more expensive ones, although the lollipop is far more powerful than even the more expensive weapons. Consider making Sugar Rush not last as long and only give you one benefit (either the spinning lollipops or the speed boost, not both).
Thank you for your feedback! I am currently aware of the boxing glove issue and I just currently pushed out a fix that hopefully addresses this issue. About the balancing problem, thanks for bringing that to my attention! I’ve adjusted several values (including Lollipop’s Sugar Rush) after testing them out myself. Thanks for your time
I see that your game is in sponsored section, and is gaining players fast. If it’s not a secret, how much did you put into sponsoring, and with what settings?
