Hello, i’m on MacOS, and I have been having this issue for about a year now, I am unable to use any of my plugins that are installed (and enabled)… I have not seen anything that may cause this or anything like it.
The things I have tried are: enabling/disabling any and all plugins, updating roblox studio, reinstalling roblox studio, restarting my computer, trying on different accounts (both roblox, and on the computer individually), deleting plugins, deleting the plugin folder and reinstalling roblox studio, and re-downloading them. This is not game specific or experience specific, (or seemingly account specific) this issue has been going on prior to any updates with UI or recent updates. I have also tried turning off and on all beta features
Current beta features enabled: Improved constraint tool, improved studio solid modeling controls, live animation creator, new video API, remote breakpoints, Revamped asset manager, segments by parts, solid modeling on meshes, and video uploads
My computer is MacOS;
Chip: Apple M1
Memory: 16 GB
Startup disk: Macintosh HD
macOS: sequoia 15.3.1
** this is my first bug report so I may have missed something or left something out, I can likely provide more information
Expected behavior
What should happen is whenever something is enabled, downloaded, or whenever my studio opens these plugins should be available for use in the plugin bar
Looks like the plugins aren’t loading properly to the data model then. Make sure to attach your logs file to the bug report and wait for an engineer to debug your issue.
You can let Studio open the logs folder for you. If you can’t find it, then you have to find the Roblox directory that holds the application data for Roblox, and find the “logs” folder within it. The latest one should start with “0.729…” and have “Z_Studio” in its name.
After finding the latest one, attach it as a private message to the bug report. If you cannot do this at the moment, you can wait until an engineer DMs you and requests it. If an engineer does not DM you anytime soon requesting this, you can create a new bug report with the log file attached as a private message. Do not publish log files as public as they can hold sensitive information.
