Plugins created under groups cannot be installed by developers of the group

Reproduction Steps

Create a new plugin under a group (i used a script inside a folder). Now, go to the “Group Plugins” tab and attempt to install the plugin you just created, and it will fail.

Expected Behavior

What I expect to happen is members whose group role has “Create and edit group experiences” turned on should be able to install plugins made by the group, even if they are marked as off-sale.

Actual Behavior

When I attempt to install a plugin (this one is off-sale), the button does not change to its “Installing” text, and the following error message is thrown into the output (it’s extremely long so I’ve screenshotted only the top):

nGqBlk91fn

I have tested this with the plugin being on-sale and the same happens. However, no error message appears.

Workaround

The only workaround for me currently is distributing the plugin source files through google drive or other file hosting services, since I wish for this plugin to be privately used by developers who are in my group. While this works, I’m now unable to quickly update the plugin and have it update for all my developers without me having to intervene.
