Plugins Tab Appears Empty

The plugin tab in studio appears empty when opened from the website- and not from studio.

  • The plugins bar will consistently appear blank and will only show your plugins once you re-open the place with:
    The studio app open
Opening the place from the app
Having a place opened from the app open
Reopening the same place without any of the above steps caused the plugin bar to stay blank.

  • This does not occur when opening a place from the studio.

  • This is not correlated to other places; solving the issue in one place will not solve the issue in another place.

I noticed this issue this morning- but I’m not sure if it existed before then. To repro:

  1. Open a place from the website.
  2. Check the plugins tab, notice how it appears empty.
  3. Re-open the place from studio to prove a point mentioned above.
  4. Re-open the place with the app opened to prove a point mentioned above.
  5. Re-open the place with a game opened with the app to prove a point mentioned above.

I’ve had this problem happen to me before, to reproduce I just restart studio then my plugin’s appear again.

You can just go into manage plugins and turn off and back on each plugin you want.

Incorrect, when you look in the manage plugin folder, nothing appears in it.

It appeared for me. Strange…

Something similar has happened to me but I couldn’t see roblox’s default plugins, I couldn’t open things like toolbox and I couldn’t use the roblox studio scale, move, rotate or select.

What I did was cleared my cookies and cache, not sure if this will work for you but I suggest giving it a go. For your first time opening studio from the website, it may still occur but the second time it should hopefully work.

I’ve seen multiple bug reports/topics on this, I assume Roblox should fix soon, for now we can only keep reporting it.

Also I have had this problem to.

@RealisticWaves In Manage Plugins, you click the plus in the top right of the widget and they appear.

I personally haven’t been in Studio but I will edit this once I have.

I just want to document my experience:

The Plugins Tab will be empty once you enter Studio, if you manually turn each one back on in the Plugins Manager they will appear in the tab. But if you leave studio then open it again the tab is empty apart from the Roblox Plugins.

It appears to be fixed now.

Hey Everyone,
There was a fix to another problem which inadvertently caused this issue. The fix has been reverted, so this issue should be resolved. Sorry about that.
