Im making a Cooperative wave shooter, and im not sure what to choose between FPS or TDS, because i know roblox players use mostly the Third person camera view, but i also know that in shooters the better solution is a First person camera.
If you choose First person (or hybrid), can you tell why?
Because is immersive
Because im precise (in shooters)
Because the camera is easier to move, rotate etc

It’s not as simple as just preferring one system over another, it depends massively on the device, the game, etc.
For mobile, first person games (especially shooters) are EXTREMELY hard to get right. Third person is far easier, but it depends on the game a lot. For desktop or console, first person is a lot easier to use. Really just depends.
i like both FPS and TDS but one thing that I don’t like about TDS is that it’s unrealistic and abit unfair in some cases
like in third person you can stay near an end of a wall and by rotating the camera you can other people that are at the end of the wall without them seeing you, or being able to see players that are behind you
also aiming through sights/scopes in first person is way better for me than in third person
that is just my opinion about both, and it doesn’t mean that FPS is better than TDS or vice versa
