Hey! I made this cool portal and I was wondering if any VFX experts (or anyone who knows what they are doing) could give me some advice? I like it right now but I feel it can be improved some more.
Or if you’re not a VFX expert, do you like it?

Looks cool, but should have more effects. The sparks coming out of the sides also look kind of weird.
Looks good! It’s just that it’s kinda weird for me to see a portal that is literally a circle. My idea of a portal is more oval-shaped.

As the other replies said, I would recommend making it a bit more oval. I guess a lot of us are so used to the game Portal’s portals. But you could also justify it cause most avatars are more vertical instead of even on all sides, so it would be best to “accommodate” for that. Unless you are jumping head-first into it lol
I can kind of see where you’re coming from with only having the sparks come from one point, but I would say to add them in a few other spots as well. Or just have them all around, like a Dr Strange portal - but maybe not have as many sparks for better performance.
not bad at all but why are there like sparks? coming from one side? make it all around and make it so that it shows what the other portal might be seeing other than that good job my dude!
