About Me
Hi, I’m Nredly. I’m 17 and live in the UK. I am a hard surface artist, primarily focusing on weapons and map assets. I use blender and substance painter to create my models before importing them into studio. This portfolio will consist of 2 parts, first I will have some renders of my work, showing weapons and low poly map assets. The second part will be a closer look at some models, giving some insight into them and my understanding of 3D. I will update this portfolio frequently with new work as my skill continues to improve.
Models
Insight into my models
When modelling anything, I am always making sure to keep my models as optimised as possible, making sure they wont cause lag for a game. I take into account what this asset will be used for, is it going to be up close in a players face or is it going to be a background prop. I also make sure to make my asset will be easy to work with for other people involved in making a game.
Example
Here is an example of a very optimised map asset, this container only has 12 tris (each red line represents an edge), having most of the indents and other details done through the use of PBR textures. This means that this assets, even if used many times around a map, will have almost no impact of performance of a game.
Availability
I am available any time for commissions, and the time frame for completion will vary depending on the project (usually within a few days). Long term work as part of a dev team/studio would be discussed privately.
