That’s all of the work I have publically available.
I’ve put together a small game idea and written a short story for it, along with monetization strategies that could be used to gain a profit and show off how I work.
Game:
Name: United Collective Front, 1946
Genre: Open World / Military / Adventure
Description:
In an alternate 1940s, the United Collective Front controls the world after the Allies’ loss in World War 2. In this harsh Reality, the player must survive and fight their way to peace whether by Joining the UCF or fighting them in a Resistance known as the “Liberators”
Storyline:
The year is 1946, as the Allies lost the Second World War a year prior you have realized that the world as you knew it is gone. After the loss an Alliance between Axis Powers formed, known as the “United Collective Front”. Every day the UCF grows with new soldiers and technology and without any Opposing powers they rule the world. But there is still hope, as a Resistance known as the “Liberators” has risen out of the ruins of the once beautiful United States of America. Now, you have the decision between Joining the Resistance and fighting against the UCF or Joining them and continuing to live under their control with little to no resources needed to survive.
There are many ways we can monetize this game, whether through Gamepasses, Developer Products, or Subscriptions. Either way, let’s break it down. (Math Warning)
Remember that Roblox takes 30% of every purchase made, leaving you making 70% of the original price.

Repeated Purchases:
Developer Products are a great way to provide Purchases a player can make repeatedly. (e.g, Currency, Temporary Boosts)
In-game Currency Purchases & Developer Products
Let’s say the UCF has a set currency called the “Collective Credits” How should we price these packs? Well, it can be a tedious process. Let’s say 1 Robux = 25 CCs, and if we do some math (1 ÷ 25 = 0.04) we find out 1 CC is worth 0.04 Robux. Now we can decide how to price our In-Game items and our Packs accordingly.
Now let’s try to decide how to price out In-Game items. Let’s say we have a shop that sells a Gun and a Chocolate bar. The Gun would be priced more than the Chocolate Bar since it has more Value. Let’s price the gun at let’s say 750cc, and if we do some math (750 ÷ 25 = 30) we find out that the gun would also be worth 30 Robux.
Now that we know this we can Price the Gun accordingly. We can first Price the gun In-game costing 750cc then we can make a Developer product for the Gun that costs 30 Robux.
- Gun
Price: 750cc or 30 Robux (21 Robux Profit)Now let’s make this harder and say the Chocolate bar is worth 35cc. Then do the math (35 ÷ 25 = 1.4) we find out the Chocolate Bar is also worth 1.4 robux. But this obviously wouldn’t work because that’s too little. because you can’t sell anything on Roblox for 1.4 Robux and even if you could you would only get 0.98 Robux in Profit due to you only getting 70% of the total sale. So how about we sell these chocolate bars in packs, let’s say each pack has 8 Chocolate bars in them, Now the pack would be worth 8x the amount it did initially, and with simple math (1.4 x 8 = 11.2) we find out this pack would be worth 11.2 Robux, but the price has to be a Full Integer so let’s round this up to 12 Robux. Now we know that the Pack of 8 Chocolate bars is worth 12 Robux or 280cc.
- Pack of 8 Chocolate Bars
Price: 280cc or 12 Robux (8 Robux Profit)Now that we have the Economy figured out, we can figure out how to sell the In-game currency. Let’s start by figuring out how many CCs we want to offer, along with a Bonus depending on how expensive the Pack is, Let’s make 3 Packs.
Let’s start with the Cheapest pack let’s call it the “Value Pack” It is the cheapest option. Let’s say this pack gives you 1500cc, which is enough to buy 2 Rifles. If we do the math (1500 ÷ 25 = 60) we will find out that the pack would be worth 60 Robux, with a 0% bonus since it is the Cheapest option.
- Value Pack - 1500cc (0% Bonus)
Price: 60 Robux (42 Robux Profit)Moving onto the next Pack we can call this the “Standard Pack” It is in between being the Cheapest and the most expensive option and is usually the most popular pack. Let’s say this pack gives you 3000cc (2x the Value Pack). And if we do the Math (3000 ÷ 25 = 120) we find out that this pack is worth 120 Robux. But let’s be generous and offer a Bonus because it’s pretty pricey. Let’s say we give a 10% Bonus, we will then end up with the pack offering 3300cc.
- Standard Pack - 3300cc (10% Bonus)
Price: 120 Robux (84 Robux Profit)Now onto the Most expensive pack, offering a large amount of CC, Let’s call this the Premium Pack. This pack usually comes with a large bonus due to it being expensive. Let’s say the pack comes with 4500cc (3x the Value of the Value pack). And if we do the math (4500 ÷ 25 = 180) we find out that this pack is worth 180 Robux. But since it is the most expensive option let’s give a 25% bonus, this will add the total up to 5625cc.
- Premium Pack - 5625cc (25% Bonus)
Price: 180 Robux (125 Robux Profit)And with this we can always add on.
