Well, to begin with, I’m pretty sure there’s no way to fix this, but I wanted to show you.
// This happens when I move parts around the union surface. The part doesn’t stay in the right place, it always moves millimeters, and this makes building REALLY difficult. It’s like, “Why d
on’t you use modeling?” I find it difficult and can’t do it. I prefer to build with Roblox.
There’s a way to fix this, right? I’m not sure it only happens with unions. If not, they should fix it.
I honestly don’t know what to advise you. I’ve just never encountered this problem. But I can advise, in the model tab, change the rotation of the blocks, and at the bottom there is how much you move the block (probably) try to turn off the checkbox (probably everything will be fine)
This looks like a floating point error. If it is, there isn’t much you can do unless you compromise on your build. But it doesn’t look like that big of an issue!
Well, I didn’t fully understand the problem. Could you explain better what’s happening? I have some suggestions, but maybe they won’t apply directly to the issue.
Unions are quite bad; it’s highly recommended not to use them because they cause several difficulties—some of them being moving, scaling, and rotating, among others…
Maybe what you could do is undo the union, fix the blocks, and then unite everything again. I think that would be easier. Another idea, which doesn’t involve unions, is to use fixed values to increase or decrease the blocks, for example: 0.05 or something like that, so that all your blocks would have the same size.
