Power Up [Early Access]

Hi there, for the past month KrixYaz and I have been working on a game called Power Up. It’s a 4v1 game, where a team of 4 players take on an enemy that can “Power Up” into a monstrous form. The monster is weak at its first state, but much faster than others. Once it powers up, it becomes an even playing field.

Each class is unique and have their own set of equipment:

The runner is faster than the other team but very weak, his job is to get close to the monster and use his equipment to slow the monster down so others can catch up.

The Tank is the main damaging class, his focus is to deal as much damage to the monster he can when he is nearby. He has the most health on the team, but is much slower.

The Medic is the healer, they can place healing stations down that players can use to regain health, and also has a medic gun to heal individual players (medic gun is not in the game yet)

The Hunter is important, his job is to completely stop the monster in its tracks with his traps after the runner has slowed it down. He can place a giant shield over an area, and use harpoon mines to hold the monster in place for a short time.

The game is in a alpha state, and there is a lot of stuff I still need to add, but I decided to make it paid access so users who are interested can help shape the game before we hit a full release. If anyone has any suggestions on the game, or finds any bugs. Please PM me on roblox, it would be very helpful.

So basically exactly like the game ‘Evolve.’

Sounds like it. I like the idea.

yup! thats exactly it. Obviously modified for this platform though.

My only complaint would be the small amount of players - if one suddenly leaves, it becomes unbalanced and, well, wouldn’t feel like a fun game anymore.

Could you somehow balance it out where maybe 10-15 could play? That way if one or two left you could still have a lot of fun and simply have others join - users could come/go without majorly affecting the game.

The way his system works would be perfect if he did Matchmaking. However, he doesn’t and so it causes this really large problem.

There is some major issues with the game at the moment , I took the game down for now while I go over a lot of the gameplay and how to fix and improve it. Then it will be back up.
