I’m just trying to practise my building, tell me what flaws I could fix in it
I can see that this is a squid game
So, maybe u can like edit the material because i think the material is all smooth plastic (unless u are going for a low poly look)
Tbh it looks pretty nice
Might have some flaws i havent seen though
ill see what i can do with materials, since Im pretty terrible at selecting them
This looks just fine to me. Although, the particular scene you’ve chosen of the sleeping quarters in squid game is an inherently simplistic scene with little detail on the ceiling, walls, or floor. So, there isn’t a ton to critique, either.
If I were to give you suggestions:
- Increase your studio quality settings to a higher amount if your system can handle it, it helps a ton with envisioning your scene as you make it (File > Studio Settings or Alt+S > Rendering > Editor Quality Level)
- Pay a bit more attention to lighting. Tweaking the lighting could help not just frame your scene better but add more focus to important parts, such as the middle of the room and the beds, instead of having the walls and ceiling (despite it being black) so brightly lit as well.
I will almost never parent a light object to the actual model of the light, like the ceiling lights you have. Instead, I will have them under transparent, non-collidable parts so that I can move them around more easily to get my desired effect. This, and ambient values might help make your scene nicer =P
thanks, i suck at lighting. ive always used transparent parts but I never knew how to use them properly. quick question tho, which light source should I use for a room, like point light surface light etc.
Point light if light is coming from middle
