Notes: The plugin puts the downloaded asset inside a new folder in workspace called “InsertedItens”. If the asset has a BasePart it will be located at position (0,0,0) or above.
Update: Now working with avatar bundles too!
Recent updates:
Camera moves to the inserted object when inserted
It does not create a “Inserted Itens” folder anymore, the inserted item goes directly to workspace instead.
Auto selects the inserted item.
Possible issue:
If you copy the link of an asset that has number on its name, it probably wont find it, if thats the case, copy only the asset ID instead (usually the big number at the link). The plugin currently removes all non-numerical characters on the given string to get the asset’s ID, numbers that are not from the ID shall be left by the formating and makes it think its part of the asset’s ID.
Aha!, I see, great work then! I only have 1 word of advice, I’d really love it if the UI was a bit more clean. And I feel like it could be condensed a bit, other than that it looks good! Also does it use Studio history service?
Thanks!
Yes, it does uses Change History Service.
Hmm I dont know, I really liked this design. Doesn’t feel unclear for me.
If more people say the same I may change.
