The previous owner of the group has been getting errors “Group ownership has been changed recently”, and it has been 90 days past the original transfer date for just him.
my friend doesn’t have devforum, so I told him to that I will put in a bug report & to transfer it to me to see if I can do it after the group ownership phase to see if it’s just a glitch; I’m still waiting for that 90 days to be up.

Just as an update, my friend transferred the group to myself, and I’m hoping that would like reset the 90 day counter that these have, but this hasn’t happened before. This isn’t intended behavior, so I want this to be investigated and to be fixed to make sure it doesn’t happen again, hopefully we can get our 90 day revoked and fixed or something.
The 90 day group owner cooldown is reset for each ownership change, no matter previous historical ownership. This is for the security and safety of the current group owner and members.
Do you know the last time the previous owner attempted to change the group name? According to the records, their 90 days were up after October 12. Unfortunately, now that you’ve switched the owner again, the timer was reset and it is now going to take until January 22, 2024, 90 days after your last switch.
According to the time of the last direct message with your friend, the attempt was probably around 8/15/2023 in that case. That would have been before the 90 day cooldown completed.
That’s whenever he owned the group, and the 90 day period should only last until October 12th, and then he transferred it to me Oct 24, 2023, making that January 22, 2024, right?
