Private Chat Not Working with friends

So I’m trying to private chat with my friend On Roblox But it doesn’t show up.

Is there any reason as to why?

I don’t know if it is a Roblox Update or not. But Could someone see why?

Wait did they implement the update today? They said they’ll be removing in-app chat for users under the age of 13 starting 2025.

I think they implemented it today.

Ask Roblox to allow you to chat with them

Please check your account settings, there has been a change recently, but I don’t think it affected 13+ players.

Steps:

  1. Go to your settings
  2. Click ‘Privacy & content maturity’
  3. Click ‘Communication’
  4. Click ‘Experience Chat’
  5. And then direct chat is /w or /whisper (which is private chat)

That is for in-experience chat, if you are under 13 you will no longer be able to see chat on the website, mobile app etc
