For in the dark, they might have meant like on a street in the middle of the night, not literally in the dark.
When working with a customer, you have to ask specific questions so you have a strong understanding on what they want.
Some questions I usually ask is,
- Do you have a specific character you want in the GFX?
- Do you have specific models you want in the GFX?
- Do you have an example of a GFX you want the style to be like?
That’s funny because the size I typically use covers the entire game icon. I already finished the deal.
I really don’t see what is wrong with it… It looks amazing!
Eh some people have there own opinions. I can honestly do 10x better but it was pretty much a free GFX. Thanks though.
Hi @UneducatedScripter! I think it looks amazing. I will tell you a good thing to do… ALWAYS take pay before you start. Why I do this is so they cant cancel it once they place their order if you have already worked on it/finished it. If you need anymore advice feel free to hit me up!
I think that the background should be a slightly different black so it doesn’t just completely merge with the guy’s dark clothing.
I highly agree with that statement. I can barely see anything but the avatars head and suit. Also I have used a mapping software and have noticed that the render is pixelated. How you can fix this is by moving some lights around so you don’t get shadows.
black dots represent shadows
(hope this helps)
I mean everyone has those types of clients, just yesterday i had someone wants me to build something (although i’m not a builder) to put in the render then a bunch of characters when they had not even made the uniforms yet or have any structures they wanted me to render. What I’d do in this case is just reaffirm what they want to be rendered and the type of scene they want and redo and revise 1 more with exactly what they said.
