Hello devform member. Currently I use blender to make the thumbnail of my roblox games. Only, when I render it with blender, there are colored squares in the image. I am looking in several places for a solution but I am not finding anything
Sorry, but I’m having trouble trying to think of help for that. If I find any solutions, I’ll be quick to tell you.
Have you turned denoising one and you should raise your samples rule of thumb I normally render with 500-1500 samples but most get away with 100-128
Where are the setting for rule of thumb ?
If I’m correct you mean samples?
here and set it to 300 first if not 500 and make sure denoising is also activated for best results
@FollowMeOrYouHateGod Sometimes you just need to mess with the exposure and make sure Ambient Occlusion is enabled. That’s the only solution I can think of.
Ambient Occlusion is only a good solution if your rendering with Eevee but with cycles it’s terrible! and Eevee is only meant for real-time stuff without Global Illuminations which is not good for a single frame thumbnail
Hmm. Maybe try YouTube? Some people might have encountered a similar problem previously.
Eeeew, i have enabled Ambient Occlusion because I couldn’t make the interior of the house visible otherwise
I remaked the render with 500 (sampling) but i still having the problem and this is worst than before
Just turn on denoising to “OpenImageDenoise”. it’s in the sampling tab under denoising. (NLM Does nothing or considered disabled).
I am using blender 2.79a so the option of OpenImageDenoise by Intel are not implemented. Do i need to update it ?
try and see if it works, get the zip version of it and try if your file will load. if not you may need to find another way.
