I’m trying to create a chassis that supports suspension physics and steering. However, I’m having problems with the steering hinges. I have the rig set to turn on all four wheels; however, having the steering hinges set to the “Servo” ActuatorType seems to cause endless bouncing for no apparent reason.
Each hinge has a minimum rotation of -45 and maximum rotation of 45. This is how I have each steering hinge constraint set up:
I currently have no scripts involved, and I’ve tried setting the springs to a higher damping, though it doesn’t seem to work. It’s as if the wheels are constantly trying to reach the angle, but they keep overshooting or something. Does anybody know how to fix this?
