The building I am making is a prison in the theme of a castle.
I’m not really a builder, but I assume you could search up on google images of like a castle image as a reference. Or you can ask chatgpt for some ideas, it’s not the best for coding but it can certainly be helpful in something like this.
Greybox it! Greyboxing is when you take plain parts and just make large boxes where you want things to go. Think about where you want buildings positioned or landmarks to be. Once you’re content with that, start making basic walls. You never have to stick with one specific layout, so if you want to move something, move it!

Consider what the player will do, and design a map that fits it (for example, a shooter having hiding spots and vantage points and a horror game having long halls and creepy bits).
