Problem With Using Terrain Water

Hello! I have been working on a game recently, but every time I spawn the water from the terrain section it does not spawn in the right place. I did this 3 times and made sure it was lined up correctly, but this is what I got:

Would you guys know how I could fix this? Thank you in advance!

Have you tried raising the Y position that’s located to the left of the screenshot?

Yes. I made sure everything was places in the right position. I even had the blue line(the top) lined up right on the land. But it still spawned underneath.

I’d use a plugin called Part to Terrain.

This is a nice plugin, but I have to make several parts to turn into water; And with terrain it is sometimes not level, which does not look right. Are there any other ways?

Could you union all the parts then turn that union that you made into terrain?

I already found a solution for this, but thank you for the suggestion. I can still try this and see if I like that better.

Yeah. I kind of wish roblox would remove their size limit.

Using a mesh, you can bypass the size limit.

  1. Set your part to the max size

  2. Add a “SpecialMesh” to it

  3. Change your mesh shape to brick, or any other one you want

  4. Change the scale to be something like this. Y doesn’t really matter, X and Z can drastically change it.

Now you got this enormous part that’s 40960 by 40960 studs wide lol
