Hi, I’m having issues with in-game lighting. In-studio, I have enabled GlobalShadows and set the lighting engine to ShadowMap, but when I join a server, the lighting is all messed up. I have checked to make sure all the surface lights and spotlights are enabled, and I have also double-checked the configurations and re-published the game, only to find that nothing had changed. I have also set the graphics up to the max in-game.
Shadowmap is just super inaccurate. Try using future. It’s way better for this type of emitted stuff. Another solution could be to turn up your graphics quality.
Update: So I tried playing in studio and I saw that before I pressed play, the lighting mode was shadow so, but after I pressed play, the lighting mode was compatibility.
Instead of running play within the studio, try setting your lighting to Shadow Map or Future, when you’ve done that make sure to save all the progress and try testing your game within the actual baseplate instead of running it within Studio, if the lighting doesn’t change then I don’t know how to help, if it does then that’s good.
