Problems With Ingame Editing

Well, there are no categories to post this under other than this one. I guess it can go under Game Design. I mean, I’m trying to design a game while I’m experiencing this. Plus, for some reason I am also unable to post in but reports. Why is that? Anyways, thanks for getting to me!

I know, I should have a better title.

Hello there!

I have been working with Roblox Studio for a couple years in life. I encounter problems like everyone else. But what it this one? Not too long ago today I have been editing a game of mine and had to shut down my computer. After 10 minutes I got back on and everything was just fine. Just an average day of mine. I get back onto Roblox Studio on 11/18 at 7:30pm. Roblox Studio acts just fine as you pick a game to edit. I pick one named FireBlox. I get a blank gray screen with words. I have never seen this in my life. No one else seems to have problems like this when I share this on Discord. I don’t know what else to explain.
•I uninstalled Roblox Studio.
•I tried new files.
•I tried some of other peoples’ files just to make sure it isn’t just mine. It still happened.
•I alerted others and explained the issue, no one else seemed to know what it was.
•I tried other games of mine. Seems like it’s affecting all my games.

Does anyone know anything about this or have any experience?

I don’t quite know. It’s maybe like a performing status thing. Well, as it states. But, I tried getting it off and checking through the Studio Settings. I didn’t find anything that enabled it.

I’ve never seen this before in my life, and I’ve been using Roblox Studio for almost 6 years now. If I had to guess, Roblox Studio probably failed to load the window and used the behind-the-scenes information instead. The game might be corrupted, will it work by saving it as a file and then publish it as a game? Or will it still look like that?

You aren’t supposed to run studio in No3D mode. How did you even manage to do this?

No3D is intended to look like this on older clients:

I used Novetus’s launcher for 2011E/2011M to launch studio like this.

You most likely ran studio with this parameter, and it caused studio to open without any graphics (AKA No3D). However, it is quite interesting that this parameter still exists on this version of studio. To fix this, I try changing your graphics mode in studio settings.

I have one question. Does studio “crash” when you try to close it?

How would it persist even after re-installation? Never even knew they had this as an option.

It’s for all games. Sorry for the late reply.

Sorry, I have no idea what you mean.

Wait… You said graphics mode, yes? I do indeed remember myself playing around with that in Renders. I was also playing around with my lighting to fix something. This may be the problem. Thanks, I’ll look into it.

No, Studio doesn’t crash. It closes just fine and fast like any other window.
