Procedural Animated Wall Sticking Machine

I have been recently working on a proof of concept for my game and I would like to post another update.

Is the experience and I am really proud of it. The machine does struggle with animation on 90 Degree angles so be careful. You cannot reset.

The updates to the script are as follows:

  • Used Ball Sockets instead of Inverse Kinematics as it is much quicker and is less strain on the computer.
  • Improved the Animation so that legs will not clip through the ground…sorta
  • Created a better model.

I have learned a lot from this. I am working towards getting the first released playable version of the full game in a few months. This is one of the factions that will primarily focus on machines and technology.

I might add sounds as the last update.

Very laggy too and slow

Ah yes. The problem was bc the legs were too short.

The raycasting takes time so unfortunately going any faster might clip the RootPart through walls. However, I will try and fix this.
