Programmer needed for current project! [CLOSED]

Hi there,

Recently I got back into Roblox again and started planning a new game. I already have a UI designer and music composer on the team, but I’m stilll in heavy need of a programmer.

What’s the game about?
The game has a fairly simple concept. It’s a multiplayer survival game. Players spawn on the map, start gathering food and resources to build a base. PvP will also be a feature since there since players will be able to join teams. This game will also include some platformer elements. For example, bouncy mushrooms in the jungle.

Will there be a payment?
To be honest, I don’t really plan on paying Robux or USD since you’re part of the team and the main programmer. However, you will earn a certain % of the game’s revenue which will be discussed before release.

What kind of people am I looking for?
I’m looking for people who are experienced with developing games and working in a team. Must be above 16 y/o too.

Some images of the progress I’ve made so far:

(this isn’t just everything, but I don’t really want to reveal everything publicly)

If you’re interested in joining the team, feel free to send me DM. You can send me one on Discord (WafflemanXx#0825) or just DM me on the devforum.

I’m unfortunately too busy for this, but one or two things:

I like your building style!
As a programmer, if I’m going to work on a game then I’d like to know what percentage I’m getting from the start.
It takes a lot to program a whole game, especially on your own. I think you will have more success finding a scripter to join your team if you mentioned the % that they would get in the post.

All the best on your game!

I can fully understand that. What would sound like a reasonable %? 35-40%?

Depending on if the UI person is just making images or actually scripting the UI too, I would say 45%+.

There is a lot to take into account with the programmer role; especially that the programmer needs to continue working to make sure that new things work with existing code and fixing any bugs that pop up. Compared to a music person who makes a sound/track/music and then doesn’t really need to do anything more to it.

(Not saying anything against music people - they do awesome work - but I’m just pointing out that there’s more for a programmer to maintain.)
