How to Play: (this content is temporary, an in-game tutorial will be made later to replace this wall of text)
Overview
There is a Good and an Evil team.
To win as Good team, you need to eliminate the entire Evil team.
To win as Evil team, you need to achieve at least one of the following:
- Eliminate enough Good members so that the Good team has no more members than the Evil team.
- (In non-Wipeout mode) Eliminate all non-Survivor member of the Good team.
- (In non-Wipeout mode) Eliminate all Survivors of the Good team.
Roles
(more will be added in future updates)
Good
- Survivor: no special abilities.
- Witch: you have a healing potion and a poison potion. Every night you can use at most one of your potions. Each potion can be used at most once each game.
- Healing potion: if you have this on your hand, the game will let you know who is the victim of the Werewolves. You can choose to use this potion to save them from the murder.
- Poison potion: you can choose a player and poison them, eliminating them after the daytime arrives. Most on elimination abilities cannot be triggered when the player is poisoned.
- Prophet: you can read whether a player is Good or Evil every night.
- Guard: you can choose to protect one player from the Werewolves every night, including yourself. You cannot protect the same player for two consecutive nights, and you cannot protect against Witch’s poison or Hunter’s shot.
- Note that if a Werewolf victim is both healed by the Witch and protected by the Guard, both the Witch and the Guard’s ability becomes invalid and the victim will still get eliminated.
- Hunter: you can choose to take your shot and eliminate another player when you are murdered by Werewolves or voted out. Does not activate when poisoned by the Witch.
Evil
- Werewolf: each night you get to discuss with your teammates and choose one player as your victim. The victim is eliminated on daytime unless someone saved/protected them.
Game Procedure
One cycle of this game is considered a “day”. Each day is made up of the following phases:
Nighttime
- Werewolf Turn: Werewolves communicate with each other and picks their victim.
- Witch/Prophet/Guard Turn: The Witch, Prophet and Guard use their abilities.
- Hunter Turn: If the Hunter is the victim of Werewolves and is not saved/protected at this point, they can choose the target for their shot.
Daytime
- Start of Daytime: Announce the player(s) eliminated during the nighttime. If this is the first day of the game, then the player(s) get to leave their last word, regardless of their cause of death or action during nighttime.
- Speech Phase: Each player gets to speak in turn. The order by default starts from the first player alive and goes down the list.
- Voting Phase: All players make their vote for elimination. The player with the most votes gets eliminated, and will get to make their last word.
- If the result is a tie between multiple players, then an extra tiebreaker round will take place; the tied players will speak in turn and then another voting round is started where everyone must choose between one of the tied players. If this voting round is also a tie, no one gets eliminated for the day.
- If no one makes any votes, no one gets eliminated and the game immediately enters the next day.
