It’s currently too easy to accidentally delete a Script/LocalScript/ModuleScript in Studio. It happens to the PS99 team once every week or two and we have to dig it up from version history. Usually what happens is a script is accidentally deleted and nobody notices for a couple hours, so it’s too late to ctrl+z.
Right now you only get a “are you sure?” prompt when deleting a script that has an active draft. It should do the same for unmodified scripts.
It most definitely is. You could do that by looping through the game for scripts and seeing if a script gets destroyed. Now, when it does, simply show a prompt and if the user clicks “No, don’t delete” then the script should insert a script with the same data, done by copying the source of the script before deletion as well as that of it’s children.
No, not really. I find this feature to be indeed useful but I don’t think roblox would add this any time soon. So for a temporary solution, give me an hour… or two… or three idk. I’ll make a plugin because I got nothing to do.
