ProximityPrompt adornee does not update when reparented to nearby object

Reproduction Steps
Simply reparent an in-range ProximityPrompt to another object in range of interaction.

Expected Behavior
The popup should move from its previous adornee to its current one.

Actual Behavior
The popup remains adorned to its previous object, even though the ProximityPrompt itself is successfully reparented. This makes it tremendously difficult to switch a same ProximityPrompt between multiple nearby interactions (e.g. pickups).

A ProximityPrompt will update its prompt adornee if it is no longer in range or if it is manually disabled and re-enabled, but neither of these methods are acceptable for live gameplay.
