Please make it so the html is not using the default windows html (because its really bad) and for god sakes make it so it doesnt pop up in a new window and have it embedded in the app its super annoying and is probably the main reason why I don’t use it a lot. Also please get rid of the pop up that tries to get you to explore more roblox when you click on it

Once the new app is fully released, will we be able to switch to have the player to just be a client rather than a full blown app?

Is there a specific reason you would want that? The website will still be usable as is.

Personally, I don’t like the roblox player as a whole application. It’s feels too much like a mobile app. Maybe I’m weird, but I’m not a big fan of everything being mobile-like. When I’m on a computer, I want my experience to feel like I’m on a computer, not a phone or tablet. I’m not saying the new app is bad, but I think the option of switching the player from being a full app to just a client should be in considered.

I’m having overall issues with the Roblox App recently.
One of these was highlighted on my post:
This issue can be bypassed by getting into the shop via the extra menu.
(Also, inconsistency with it being called Shop, Catalog…)
There’s also buttons, that don’t work.
Which should work like this (for some reason these work if under the chat menu but not the ones in the main menu):
The ESC menu, also has some issues with sliders:
Chat messages have an issue where sending the message right after you type it makes them be cut off. (???)
The message sent continues cut-off if you go to the website.
@Elttob also had this issue and mentioned it on Twitter on how he suspects a State object is delayed for some reason
Edit: I uploaded the wrong example, but you can see kind of how it happens on Elttob’s tweet.
Also this button still mentions gears, which should be changed.
I think it would be really nice to have a button to be able to see the console of the app while it’s in beta to help with data to send to the engineers when anything weird happens.
Edit: A lot of the issues above, particularly with buttons only recently happened, all at once in a single Roblox update. It seems like those were caused by some module breaking.

I find it a bit annoying to always click “Leave roblox” when you’ve already pressed the close button. Maybe a option for “Do not show this again” would be helpful. It gets annoying as this always happens whenever I try to close the tab.

A fix is to press the x button 2 times, or press alt + f4 2 times, it still will close roblox.

Maybe it could leave the game on the first click, then close the client if it’s on the menu?

It’s easy to bypass the roblox website on the beta app, for example, when selecting games, i managed to get to youtube on the roblox beta app
Solution? Remove internet explorer of this beta app, that will fix this.

@goldzun Do you think you can ever make this happen? I feel like it would be a lot easier to do during the development of this feature rather than after plus if it does come along with any bugs you can fix them while your focused on this feature before you get dragged off to work on something else, Would really love it if roblox gave developers more accessibility to Core UI Changes.

This needs to be forcefully changed, because Microsoft in windows 11/newer 10 versions will remove internet explorer soon, which means it will no longer work, i hope they change this soon.

I’m having issues with disabling the beta. I click the button on the popup and it does not work. It doesn’t redirect me to a survey like it says and it doesn’t disable the beta. Can you guys change this? I really am not a huge fan of the way this works at the moment.
