I published this plugin around September 6-7. If this is intentional behavior, such as a moderation step that hides the plugin until it’s approved, then I recieved no notification of this. I am running Chrome 129 on macOS (Sonoma).
Expected behavior
I expect the plugin to appear in search, as well as when searching for it by creator.
Thanks @DaDude_89 for posting this. We are having the same issue.
We have a boombox plugin called “Boombox Radio Plugin” and it does not appear in search results when we search plugins for “boombox” or “radio” and when we search for “Boombox Radio Plugin” (it’s name) we get no results. Here is our plugin page.
I can confirm that I can’t find your plugin via search. (However, the link you provided sends me to a 404 page… is your plugin not published?)
My current theory is that once a plugin update/change to the title/description is made, the plugin enters a moderation period and is hidden until it’s complete. However, there’s no user-facing communication about this, so I’d still consider this a bug.
Thanks for that insight! You might be right. We did change the name of the plugin over the weekend for SEO. It would be nice if there was a message informing us of it being in moderation . . .
