Publish Experience To Group

Hi! I’m a Swedish Roblox developer that started in May of 2023. I’ve been working on my current game, Jetpackers, from my Roblox profile and I have some questions about how I would go about publishing/editing/managing this Roblox experience from my newly created Roblox group instead of from my Roblox profile.

While researching groups and experiences on Roblox, I have learned that there is no reason why you should ever have a Roblox experience published to your profile instead of to a group. (unless you can’t afford the 100 Robux cost?) - so creating this project on my Roblox profile instead of in a Group was a mistake.

Most Roblox devs that are interested in moving a Roblox project from their personal account to their Roblox group are worried about losing views, favorites, etc. - that is not the case for me as I have never “published” my game to the public - I do however have concerns about permissions for Animations, Sounds, and Images that are published to my Roblox Profile, will they be accessible by the experience if I publish it under a Roblox group that I own, or do I need to transfer that ownership somehow? What does that process look like?

Thanks in advance!

Putting a game under a group only has benefits, except simply the visits won’t be on your account (and I don’t think it’s really important).

You can give access to your group by simply, once the game is published on the group, get the universe ID of the game (you can search how on google) to give it permission.

Hope it helped and have a good day!
