Recently, I’ve gotten into learning how view frustrums work and the likes in other game engines, I’ve figured that I could make use of it on applications with Roblox Beams, all the effects seen are all overlaid onto the camera (uses a pretty hacky way to keep it flush onto the camera viewbox) and performs fluidly, each uses a image map I’ve meticulously crafted myself for the effects seen in the examples I’ve listed below.
It’s overall pretty cool, has good use of application on some games, never seen this done on any other game so I thought I’d share this and possibly be the first to do so.
