The Problem
I am writing this about the current “create” page on the Roblox site and about the Developer Hub. Currently, to me, it seems abnormal that we have a site called the “Developer Hub”, but many of the developer tools, pages, and resources are on the main Roblox site.
Examples:
For example, the entire section where we create and manage our games is on the main site. The library is on the Roblox site. (Basically, I am talking about the entire create page) The Roblox website should be the front end for players only. Where they interact with the social features of the site and play games. The developer and gaming aspects of Roblox should be separated.
Why should Roblox do this?
This will appear more professional for Roblox. It would just seem cleaner and professional if there is a clear line between the players and the developers. The purpose of a hub is to be efficient, keep everything in one place, and create a single environment for something. The Developer Hub should be where developers go to create games, manage games, view the library, etc. Along with professionalism, I feel this would just be more convenient for developers.
Possible Counter Argument
But isn’t Roblox a platform for imagination? Won’t this take away instant access for new players to develop?
To be fair, while this was the goal for Roblox at first, it has clearly advanced past that. Right now, people are joining Roblox to play. And if someone really wanted to develop something with Roblox, if they are determined they can go on https://developer.roblox.com/ and develop.
Also, if children didn’t just join the platform and instantly have the ability to make something, Roblox’s professional view may improve. Now, I am not against little kids trying to get into game development. That’d be awesome. But once again, if they have the determination they will. But with the create page being so open, anyone who doesn’t even know what they are doing can make a game, and probably make something bad and basic, with absolutely no care to game development, and this will just make Roblox look bad. Roblox shouldn’t only be seen as some childish game development platform for little kids.
Also, having the create page so out in the open could be confusing for new players. When all these little kids make a new account, they expect to start playing. But if they accidentally went on the create page and have no clue what they are doing, this would just be confusing for them.
What could this lead to?
If this is done, in the future Roblox may be able to incorporate features like developer accounts or something, basically, this will give Roblox the ability to create more features specifically for developers on the developer website. Something like developer accounts could possibly help our current moderation situation.

Also, it is worth mentioning since Roblox will probably have to eventually redo the create page since its outdated compared to the rest of the website, this may be a good opportunity.
