PyxFluff - UI/UX Designer

PyxFluff

UI/UX, Programming, Logo Design, more

Hello there! I’m Pyx. I’m somewhat of a Roblox developer, UI designer, and Python, Lua, and JS programmer. I’ve been doing it for roughly 7 years.

My Work

This all is my semi-recent stuff which I’m actually still proud of.

Administer

Info: Administer is a currently work in progress modular admin solution. It has plugins, is lightweight, and powerful. The marketplace makes it so you only need what you need with no bloat.

Links: Nothing yet. Will be open source in #resources when I’m done with it.

Development time: 2021-present

Codelet

Info: Codelet is a powerful platform for giveaways, event hosting, UGC codes, and more, all in one place. Still nowhere near completion, but there is an online life version. Made entirely in Python, Javascript, and HTML/SCSS.

Development Time: November 2023-present

Project Bloodshed (Connect Jam '23)

Info: Project Bloodshed is a competitive game where you must complete levels quickly and be the first to win in order to survive. If you die, you become a ghost and can “haunt” people.

Development Time: 10 Days

Purgatorio (Inspire '24)

Info: Purgatorio is a small game which was produced for the Inspire 2024 Game Jam. I did some programming, logo design, and the game’s UI.

Development Time: 3 Days

Commissions / Long-term stuff

Clean up Roblox

Info: For some, this game needs little introduction. I revamped the UI twice (last in November 2022 so it’s a poor example), raised the player count, and engineered and designed many features and live events. One of the owners ended up being a bad person and I contact with the second so I haven’t touched the game in a long time.

Other Commissions

fan made music player UI rough draft

Logo Design

Recently I’ve started making flat logos so I’ll let people buy them off of me. They’re very simple so you shouldn’t expect anything spectacular.

Payment

Surprising to nobody, work takes a lot of effort, so my prices reflect that. If you have an issue with any of this, reach out first so we can negotiate.

UI

Usually, I charge by the frame. I charge based on the complexity of the frame which I decide based on the blueprints we will create. When reaching out to me for UI work, you should have some drawing of the general idea/flow. For my skill level these prices are generally lower than something else you would find somewhere else.

Not complex

1-2 Frames: 350 Robux
2-4 Frames: 300 Robux
5+ Frames: 250 Robux
Conversion Fee: 75 Per

Complex

1-2 Frames: 550 Robux
2+ Frames: 500 Robux (no discount on 5+ here because it takes me a lot of work)
Conversion Fee: 125 Per

I always use UIcons by Flaticon unless otherwise requested, which requires attribution. I deliver a .fig file, if you would like it converted to .rbxm, I charge a conversion fee (listed in prices). This is because it takes a good 10-30 minutes for me to convert frames to Roblox from Figma and requires a lot of extra work. I can give you the .rbxml for free but it may not look as intended.

Logo Design

Basic flat logo: 350 Robux

Programming

I charge per-line and do not excessively format my code. I may charge an extra fee on extremely large projects with many scripts. I generally format my Lua code the same but you can request I follow a game-wide style. An ok reference for my semi-modern code can be found at the Administer GitHub.

I generally write code in a couple of files under a folder. If you would like me to stay in one script I can do that at no extra fee. Extreme modularity (~5+) may be a small fee per-module. Please read my terms for limits I may have as well!

Client line: 7 Robux
Server line: 9 Robux

Special stuff

UI Animation (simple, not lots of stuff moving): 50 Robux
UI Animation (complex, lots of keyframes or moving parts): 200 Robux
Custom DataStore handler: 350 Robux

I accept payment via Group Funds or by buying a t-shirt (you pay tax). If you prefer USD we can discuss other methods such as Discord Nitro or a Steam game. Robux is always preferred. Payment via Steam will be 100% upfront, as there is no 50%. I can not refund Discord or Steam payments.

Availability

If I’m awake then I’ll be able to check my Discord. There is no concrete time here because it was constantly getting out of date so please feel free to reach out to me no matter the time and I will respond ASAP. My Discord account sits in DND all night and may have a music paused status so just because I am online and not responding does not mean you are being ignored.

Terms

  • I am a person and project confirmation or 50% received does not mean I’m starting, I will let you know when your project is underway. Please also note I am not always infront of my computer and may have to pause working suddenly and will resume whenever possible.

  • If you are contacting me, read this first: https://nohello.net

  • 50% payment must be sent first. If you ghost me/block me when I’m done (ghosting will be considered >72 hours without a reply unless you tell me you’re going to be away), I’ll either open source it on GitHub or put it in #resources. If you seemingly fell off the planet (inactive on all platforms without prior notice), this will also happen. In the case of programming, I will give you a rough estimate of how much I think it’ll take, which will be that 50%.

  • If I want or have to, for any reason, I can cancel your commission at any time. This probably will not happen, but it’s here to protect myself. If downpayment has been received you can choose to refund it or have my current progress.

  • I make it very clear when something is outside of my skill range. If I come up with an issue I cannot solve during programming, you will be 100% refunded.

  • Once completed, everything is final. No refunds or changes once I export a project (unless there is a bug which I can debug locally).

  • I allow for up to 3 small UI edits (defining “small” is decided on a case-by-case basis and I will let you know beforehand). Anything major (like changing the style, major layout restructures, etc) is an extra fee. We will always discuss what you want before I start, and I will accept responsibility for potential miscommunications a lot of the time.

  • Unless requested otherwise, your commission will be posted here and on Twitter.

  • I pride myself on customer satisfaction and making you happy with your purchase will be my #1 priority. Please do not be scared to tell me if you have any concerns with current progress or I misunderstood anything! You will be a large part of the process and I will fill you in with my progress whenever I get the chance.

Limits

  • Nothing Web3
  • I generally stick to the same UI style, anything else is harder for me to do and may be extra. We can always try stuff out though!
  • Programming cars
  • Any non-basic viewports
  • Raycasting (still learning, not confident enough)

Vouch for @pyxfluff , he can answer basically any question regarding computers or programming (as long as its a language he has worked with). From the times I have worked with him, he has programmed everything quickly but with quality and knows what he is doing. He also can do quality UI and program that as well!

P.S. he can give you a list of PC parts to make a good PC for a good price, get your Pixlz PC today!

I guess you can do 2 :robux_gold: (or 3) per statement instead of lines.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess that does make more sense:

if (1 + 1)
/
(2+2 *
(GetNumber())
then

should be 3 instead of 15. I don’t write my code that way but it’s a good example. Will look into better pricing shortly, thank you!

Administer :ok_hand:

what language is ‘Administer’ on?

Written in Lua, it’ll be an admin system for Roblox games. Current source code is a lot and it’s not very complete. (client is 858 lines and server is 794)

Yeah, I know it’ll be a modular admin system, the question was ‘What language is Administer’s name on?’

I don’t understand, unless you mean the meaning of the English word.

It’s not that deep, it’s just the name.

Yeah, i thought ‘Administer’ wasn’t english lol.
also those meanings doesnt make any sense :what:

Closed stuff up for now while I focus on exams. Should be open again mid-late May, will update here.

Cleaned up the topic a bit, added new media, and remvoed programming commissions! Reopened as well.

Programming commissions open again! Updated some prices and examples too to be slightly higher but still not unreasonable. Only 3 slots for now to gauge interest and hopefully not burn myself out going back into classes in not too long.

Please be sure to reach out if you have any questions!
