What a week!
We are thrilled with the reception Q-Clash has been getting this week and it has significantly exceeded our expectations. Sincerely, thank you all for your playtime, and we look forward to shaping this game with you. The reception is surpassing all of our expectations!
This week we are bringing map upgrades, bug fixes and balance tweaks. We also have some really cool stuff in the works that we are looking forward to showing you.
So what’s in store for the future? Typically our attention is divided between bringing out new content (clashers, skins, maps, emotes etc.) and improving the core gameplay experience with balance changes, bug fixes and new mechanics. That being said, we are also investing time in some new and exciting opportunities for bringing Q-Clash to new audiences. Console support and localization are on our horizon!

Bug Fixes
- Fixed significant memory leak causing the game to lock up for 5-10 seconds upon joining older servers
- This should also lead to improved gameplay performance
- Deployables no longer show up in the team setup warning section
- Previously broken medals now award correctly
- Prevented MVP screen from showing users who had left the game, causing an error
- Fixed bug whereby faces would fail to load
- Fixed bug that could cause the player to timeout when sending a request to the server
- Other miscellaneous bug fixes
Map: Storm the Castle
- Deployables can no longer be placed on the roofing looking over the Garden Control Point A.
Map: Neo Tokyo
- Upgraded the map’s visuals by replacing the ugly black walls dividing the centre of them map with new geometry courtesy of the incredibly talented @Aotrou
- Small adjustment made to the position and size of point B
- Increased attacking time needed for Concert Point B by 38%
Rascal
Rascal underwent some hefty changes this week, as we sought to change the degree of influence he could have on the game (particularly with multiple Rascal’s on one team). Turrets have been altered so they are less useful in group scenarios without careful placements. They still have the power to control key areas of the map, but these changes mean more thought is required to use them correctly. Rascal’s Scrap Cannon primary has been improved to reward proper aiming with a higher DPS potential.
