Question about DevEx Taxes

So this is my first time doing taxes with DevEx payouts and I was just a little confused about the receiving of the tax forms: According to the DevEx Help page, they should have been issued already via email, but I haven’t gotten them yet. I have also not received the physical mail copy, but that makes a little more sense. Has anyone been sent either of them yet or is it too early?

If your cash earnings for the prior tax year are greater than $600 then Roblox will report your cash earnings to the IRS on IRS Form 1099-NEC. We generally issue these Forms on or before January 31 of each year.

The tax forms will be emailed to the email account associated with your DevEx portal, and mailed to the address provided on your W-9. You will receive a digital copy of your tax form from noreply@efilemagic.com. Included in the email from E-file Magic you will be given instructions how to acquire your tax form. The link provided in the email will expire in one year.

Writing from what I know, I’m assuming you’re an american citizen (I do my W-8BEN form, but this is some good info):

Roblox typically issues these forms by January 31 each year. If your earnings from DevEx exceeded $600 in the previous tax year, you should receive the form both via email and physical mail.

The email will come from noreply@efilemagic.com, so check your spam or junk folder just in case it got filtered there. The email will have instructions on how to download your form, and the link in the email will expire after a year.

If you still haven’t received the email or physical copy after a reasonable waiting period, it might be worth double-checking that the email and address in your DevEx portal and W-9 are correct. You can also reach out to Roblox Support for further assistance.
