i and my siblings have been on the same network for over 4 years and i’ve never got an enforcement ban despite them getting banned multiple times, and I never used a vpn. (they also have never gotten an enforcement ban despite me getting banned twice)
throughout my experience (plus some resources like this), here’s how it works + what im doing to avoid it
first of all it doesn’t have anything to do with networks or wifi or stuff like this.
there’s two ways for this enforcement ban. the first way it works is basically through cookies (app cookies and browser cookies). roblox has a specific cookie that monitors the accounts you’re using on each device, and if they find a connection between the banned account and the other account you’re using, the other account will be instantly terminated.
so yeah, to prevent this, basically delete your browser cookies as well as your app cookies regularly.
if you dunno how to delete app cookies, press Ctrl + R, then type in ‘appdata’ and click Enter.
open Local > Roblox > LocalStorage and delete the RobloxCookies.dat file.
this is extremely crucial, especially if you’re using a shared pc.
as for browser cookies, i think it’s too easy to delete them or know how to delete them
if you’re using a shared pc you can create a separate windows account for you, so that the app cookies as well as browser cookies become separate, which lessens the chances of getting an enforcement ban
everything applies to mobile devices as well, if you’re using a shared mobile device you must always clear the app data regularly everytime you finish playing.
the second way it works is by finding a connection between two accounts through the accounts info, usually determined by shared date of births, shared email addresses or phone numbers, similar usernames and join date
so to prevent this, ‘disconnect’ your account from any other account on your network. don’t use the same email address or phone number, don’t put in the same date of birth. if you have an account that has a similar username or a join date, go into that account and deactivate it because it may have an effect on your main account if it got banned/terminated
what i’ve been doing is clearing my app cookies + browser cookies regularly + clearing roblox’s app data on mobile regularly and disconnecting my account from any other account on the network
if you have your separate devices, you still should regularly do all of this because who knows, someone may sneak into your devices and play roblox. even if you’re sure no one will use your devices, delete your cookies regularly because that’s pretty much like wiping off your footprints, making it hard for roblox to detect you and enforcement-ban you, and because it lessens the chances of getting enforcement ban in general
ive been doing all this since enforcement bans have come out and nothing has gone wrong
hope this helps!
