In a town/city game, how wide should the road be and how wide should the sidewalk be?

I should say use some cars and make to road with that!

Iād say a road needs to be 4x or 5x times wider than the character.
Honestly, a good benchmark for roads is each lane should be roughly 1.5x the size of a car. As for sidewalks, you can realistically go with any size. Some cities have sidewalks wide enough for several people, some cities have sidewalks only wide enough for two or three.
The important thing to remember is to be creative and add your own personal touch to the town!
