Hello developers.
I have recently started a UGC group and published a back accessory worth 145 robux.
The aforementioned item has two sales, but each sale only gives me 44 robux. This equates to 30% of the overall amount.
I was looking online for why this happens, since it seemed like an unusually low amount of robux per sale. I found an article on Roblox that claims the creator of the item gets 30%, 40% goes to the seller/affiliate, and 30% goes to Roblox.
However, in my case, despite me being both the creator of the item and the seller/affiliate (since it’s in my own group), I seem to have only gotten 30%.
According to the information presented, shouldn’t I get 70% of the sale?
The same documentation page also states:
There is a 30 day escrow hold for each purchase. Roblox holds the commission from the sale of your items for 30 days starting from the date of sale and your Robux share of the sale.
I’m not too sure if they’re just talking about sales in experiences or if this includes all methods of selling UGC items.
Can someone clarify this for me please?
Thanks!
