Question: how do they do these kinds of VFX? is it by coding or animating with moon animator or smthng?

Hello I’m new to creating vfx, I also really wanted to make one for my anime like game. I’ve been wondering on how to make VFX like this:

or like this

EVERY/ANY help is appreciated, also what is best for you? is it creating vfx by coding? or creating vfx by actual animating like in moon studio or such? I would love to know and learn.

2nd one is trail with parts moving using frame through a script.

First it was in the blender, a lot of work put into it depending on how skilled you are, it would take hours, you would need to create a lot of different meshes,

Fragments,
Circles,
Spiked meshes, and so on.
each, if a lot of effort is put in it, you can make it

Good example:

oh I see but for you is coding a vfx better than animating it?

First one is pure particles and scripts, the particles are made with properties then more are emitted and changed through scripts. Non of the videos have anything to do with blender. As for 3d vfx you can either animate them or script them BUT it is better to script when u dont rig the vfx.

HEY! thanks for the advice but may I ask if you got any links for guides and such since I’m still trying to learn them, And is scripting vfx or animating vfx better for you?

There is nothing to learn about them, mess around in studio with different textures and particles and see what you can make. The video sent by someone previously on this thread could also be helpful (check RedPlys youtube videos).

most of the time scripting is a lot better

ALR! thx, I would keep this in mind.

Hello, the first one wasn’t made in blender. None of the effect seen is made in blender. Everything you see was made using particles. The uploader of the first video is a friend of mine and she never uses blender mesh vfx. Honestly, Scripters need to learn particle VFX, it is much more efficient and performance-friendly than tweened/animated mesh.

Yes it’s made by coding, try studying the video and see how they do it, then replicate it.

Do you know how that 3D looking sphere at the end was made by particles? I can’t find a way to replicate that without using meshes maybe I’m just bad lol
