I’m working on a series of custom r15 characters out of mesh parts that will each involve more parts than the amount used for an r15 rig. This will involve parts that are supposed to be welded (built in accessories) to the primary moving parts involved in the animation (head, arm etc.). I’ll call these “secondary parts”
My plan is to upload the characters from blender so that each of their parts are positioned properly once it’s in studio.
I’m familiar with how to rig for a basic r15 model with only the essential parts, however, I’m not sure how to keep the “secondary parts” attached to the essential parts while keeping their local position relative to their parented or “essential” part. I’ve played around with welds but I can’t prevent the welds from automatically shifting the welded parts to the center of the parent parts.
If anyone has any idea of how to achieve this that would be greatly appreciated.
