Question on Art Contests

Hey, I was thinking way too far ahead for my game, and I want to have a good relationship with the community that I may build. I was thinking of doing art contests that would allow players to get involved in the game themselves. Would it be against Roblox TOS to hold art contests in which players can submit art, and the winners get either art put on the game page or put in the game itself? What about adding a Robux prize to the winners (I’m pretty sure this one is against the TOS but im not certain for either)?

If I can’t do that, how could I better build a relationship with players? I hate how uninvolved the front page developers are in their communities, and I want to make a change.

You can’t give away Robux, but I don’t see why a contest for art being in the game wouldn’t be allowed.

could I give away robux gift codes?

From what I know robux gift codes are allowed

I don’t know if you can on the platform, they won’t do anything if it’s off-platform though.

A gift card code is technically just Robux, even though you can buy Premium which is also just Robux technically. It seems iffy.

i hope so, but i think im just gonna stick with a monthly art contest to allow players to be involved in the game. i might add player artwork as items in the game or something instead of a robux prize

There’s a lot of debate about paying robux. It’s fine for the most part, but changes on a case-by case basis.

I don’t exactly get what you mean here, so excuse me if I’m restating what’s already been said. Why not give a special honorary badge, or chat tag, or reward for the winners? If it is a game they love, this might mean a lot to them, possibly more than robux.

by adding player artwork in game, i mean as buildable items. its a game in which the players can build a “tycoon” of sorts, and the artwork would fit well with the theme as items the players can include in their tycoons
