I made a donation game, called ‘get paid to sword fight’. I ran about 20k in ads, but I have yet to make anything significant from it, I tried making it fun and engaging with another update being pushed out soon, can someone let me know why it might not be performing aswell as other donation games?
I saw your game. Nobody was there though. But the reason why most of the donation games fail nowadays is because of repetitive idea of donation games. After PLS DONATE came, it changed the method of earning robux. But now people are bored of being playing these types of games. It isn’t everyone’s case, but atleast mine and my friends’ thinking.
Also, it says that people already donated over 1M robux in your game. So why it isn’t a good amount. Spending 20k and earning 100k is profitable. (Out of 1M, Roblox cuts 30% which makes 700k, and the developer of that game gets a 10% of it. So you get 100k)
Gameplay - Not much to tell you because nobody was there.
Having a lack of Players would result in other Players feeling discouraged to try out the game. You might want to turn to other forms of advertising, like through TikTok, YouTube, Discord and so on.
There isn’t really much to do in the game, I’ll be honest. It’s just a sword fighting game with a safe-area platform. You can perhaps add a system where if a Player is donated an amount of Robux, or if they spent enough time getting kills, they are able to “level-up” their weapons. Just an idea on how you might be able to engage users.
You probably should add more badges besides “witnessing” a high level of Robux being donated to sword fight, like the amount of kills you have, a welcome badge, badges for a specific amount of time you’ve spent in-game etc.
It also seems like one of your leaderboards aren’t able to be scrolled through by the Player. You might want to fix this.
