So I’m aware that datastores can be used to replicate tools between places, which is something I’m going to use. However, I’m wondering, could the same datastore be used to save specific properties of each tool (particularly, variables/attributes), or would I need a separate datastore, or is this even possible?
Not particularly needing an example, more just a response. Sorry if the question seems dumb I don’t know much about datastores and my brain is running on very low capacity today.
It’s possible, however dependent on how many tools you plan on saving said properties of; you could reach the data limit. Make sure you’re changing/storing the tool data on the server, then changing the attribute or value of the actual tool to match the string/integer/whatever you stored in the datastore.
