Does anyone know what this is called or how to make one? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a while.
Idk what it’s called but I think it’s made using a invisible parts and beams. I’m not sure though.
Just use Decals
/ Textures
for the fade and make the part’s transparency 1, and finally make the Decal's
/ Texture's
BackgroundTransparency 1 aswell.
FYI: I have made like a million of these for my games lol, it’s not very difficult.
Agreed – probably the easiest way. You can even just search for some transparent gradients online, but if you want to make them yourself that’s also possible outside of Studio.
If you want someone to give you a more in-depth tutorial, I’m sure one of us would be willing to explain it step by step.
SurfaceGUI’s with Frames and UIGradients on each side. Decals aren’t normally good with transparent parts.
I’ve seen those in a couple of games, I’m not sure on what is the right method to create this but i think it has something to do with the forcefield material.

It could be a pad to activate a GUI when touched i think, i mean, i’ve seen those in simulators, so yeah it could be a GUI trigger
