Question: Why cant they show the image that was violating the roblox TOS?

i was recently warned for importing a 3d model into roblox that contained over multiple meshes and textures. my time was kinda wasted over a hour cuz the mesh was so huge.

the thing i hate about this, is that it doesnt tell you the name of the image, nor show the image at all. it just warns you and thats it. i think it should be easy to load the image that was considered of a violation to the tos.

plus this bothers me even more cuz, i gotta look through every single image inside the folder. either way i dont got the time for this and its way too much work.

so why cant they simply just add a photo of the image or even atleast just the name of the image??

Considering many of your texture names are copyrighted names (Ford, Winnebago, etc.) might be the reason.
You can’t use anything that is copyrighted. Even if others have used those names in the past, it’s against the law.

Because it’s Roblox moderation

even if thats the reason why, still, why cant they simply show the image that was violating the tos? if it did show, i would remove the image/texture.

A bot probably picked up on one of the brand names. You could remove that one, but the next one you have a brand name on would get caught by the bot again.

might’ve found the cause of the problems

plus i found a bunch of them, but usually i would be able to upload them without any problems. plus i wouldnt really even know if they had any copyrighted textures. just import with the textures and it would go through.

Any brand name is going to be copyrighted. Gulf, Michelin, VP Racing, and RĂ©my Martin are brand names. Legally they can get your game taken down for DMCA violations. The images may get uploaded fine, but Roblox will shut it down if the copyright holders find out and inform Roblox. This could happen at any time.
I had a game taken down just for using the name “Formula One” in the title. There were no other images or brand names in the game itself, just my own vehicle models and map.

There’s a reason that popular games usually use names that are just similar to brand names for vehicles or products.

though, could they still take it down, even if its a private game? some people i know have games with multiple copyrighted brand names, and they havent had a problem of getting their game taken down, nor a status code 403 during the process
