Questions about TOS regarding animal abuse and real world depictions of death/gore

First time posting on the developer forums so I apologize for any oversights on my end when it comes to the post itself. I have a concept for a supernatural hunting game where the player tracks and hunts cryptids. I envision the game with a heavy layer of realism, and to that end I would like for the players to field dress what they hunt before they take their catches home. I’ve read the Roblox TOS, including for 17+ games, and I wanted to get the insight of more wise people.

I am unsure as to how Roblox might rule on a game focused on hunting, as there are certainly people who view hunting animals as animal cruelty. What do you all think to that end?

The 17+ Policy Standards state that a game cannot have “Real-world depictions of extreme gore, graphic violence, or death.” I am not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean, and if the act of disemboweling a creature to remove the organs would count as a real world depiction in this context. I personally would read this as prohibiting stuff such as depictions or photos of real world killings, the same as depictions of recent tragedies, but I am unsure due to the vague wording and what “real world depiction” means in this context.

I’d like to keep the game as close to the true experience of hunting as possible and wherever possible I would not like to compromise, which leads me to believe that at minimum the game will have to be 17+ to include field dressing, but I am worried that even then it might be classified under “Animal Cruelty” or “Real world depictions of extreme gore,” and that I will have wasted large amounts of development time on a game that would get removed.

I would like advice regarding any and all of this so I can better understand the TOS and avoid wasted effort towards a game concept that Roblox wouldn’t allow. Any references to previous rulings on other Roblox games would also be appreciated.

Hunting is allowed.
I don’t think skinning an animal would count as abuse (if they’re dead).
That leaves only the extreme gore rule. I’ve seen some gore games only have 13+ ratings. I’m not too familiar with what’s allowed, but I do think they allow a lot of gore. Especially with 17+ ratings.
