Questions about uncopylocked games in relative to moderation

So basically, I had a fun idea that I would get an uncopylocked grow a garden copy (since there are tons) and privately publish it not for anyone else but me and maybe a friend or two. I wanted to look around in the game interface and play around with cool stuff like what would happen if you spammed like 100 seeds in one place. it would likely stay locked to only me and my friend so not adding any gamepasses or dev products, just a fun place to play around for me and my friends. i did a little research and apparently some people got instant terminated for playing with uncopylocked games for a number of reasons such as “Uploaded content that is not yours” or malicious content. Just checking, if i downloaded the game file on an alt and set the game to private and only me and my friend with play access would I have any chance of getting banned? I want to be really careful around this.

Please let me know if it should be in a different category. All responses appreciated!

Yes, you have the risk when it is published because Roblox moderation will review it but it would take like 4-5 days for Roblox to review it.

so what exactly would make moderation happen? id obviously check the game for malware but if i made it private and didnt name it grow a garden then would i have a chance of moderation? also would make it on an alt

You can call it anything that won’t get the game banned it’s more about assets leading to the game which causes moderation, but yeah check game for malware or hidden backdoors i guess because uncopylocked’s are very risky to use especially on your main account.

The game I was planning to use the source code has an average of 50 players active and was created in may 2025. Would you say it’s safe? Still using an alt though.

If the code is normal then yeah they can’t do anything with code unless its copyrighted.

so if i make it on an alt, check it for malware and have it only for me and my friends should i be fine?
