So, I am working on my game, and while I am working on the movement system (and better selection methods), I have remembered a cool thing that the game I am basing this off of did.
Essentially, every time a technology or world wonder was completed, it would have a quote next to it. I think it would be just kind of a joke to have quotes about different games, just a nice to the game. However, implementation would likely be easy, finding the quotes… not so much.
So, I want to know whether this is worth the effort to implement, and if anybody has a source that I could find quotes for different Roblox games from. Thanks! Here’s a quick poll:
No, this is not worth the effort
Yes, this is a good idea, but I have no sources
Yes, this is a good idea, I have sources listed in a reply
Okay, I’m still confused on what you are saying. I don’t know if you mean quotes as in the end of a “world”. Could you please be more specific if you can?
Sounds to me like you’re referencing Sid Meier’s Civilization, and if you’re trying to recreate something similar but with a Roblox twist, the quotes could be a nice detail.
Quotes could be obtained from the Roblox blog features on the games in the past, since they would have direct quotations from the developers as well as staff opinions on the game.
